The man was seen on video going overboard while holding onto a lifeboat on the side of the ship near the Bahamas. The coast Guard had searched an area covering 931 square miles, Fox News reports.

Kroger: Child Accidentally Shoots Himself With Parents' Gun in Michigan Supermarket Parking Lot
Police say the 4-year-old found his parents' gun in the console of the car. The child was taken to the hospital and it is unclear if his parents will face charges, The Indy Channel reports.

Chile Earthquake: Magnitude-6.8 Tremor Hits Country's Central Coast
The quake struck 66 miles southwest of Coquimbo on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. There were no initial reports of injuries or damage, and no tsunami warning has been issued.

Inmates have lit fires at Australia's Christmas Island detention centre in a "major disturbance" that is yet to be resolved, say government officials.
The unrest was sparked by the death of a detainee who had escaped the camp.
The immigration department confirmed in a statement that guards had been withdrawn for "safety reasons".
