      Bullitt County, Kentucky: Judge Dismisses Case Against Man Who Shot Neighbor's Drone

      William H. Merideth was cleared of first-degree endangerment and criminal mischief charges Monday, news outlets reported. He was arrested in July for shooting the drone while it hovered over his yard.

      The drone was ruled to be an invasion of privacy. A rather important case.

        This implies, of course, that the shooter can now countersue for wrongful suit, invasion of privacy and any costs associated like the bullet and such.

          Interstate 69 in Michigan: Car Veers Off Highway and Crashes Onto Local Home's Roof, Report Says

          The driver was unhurt after he lost control of his car near Shiawassee County and landed on top of a roof that was near a hill and level to the ground, The Argus-Press of Owosso reported.

            Columbus Junction, Iowa: High School Runner Gets Disqualified for Helping Competitor Who Collapsed

            Davis County senior Zach Hougland won first place at a meet last Thursday after stopping to help Mediapolis senior Garret Hinson, but both runners were disqualified per Iowa state athletic rules.

              Washington Square Mall: At Least 3 People Injured in Shooting at Indianapolis Mall, Police Say

              The incident took place inside a common area at the mall, police said Wednesday. Authorities said the suspect, who is not in custody, opened fire on a man he knew.

                Live Oak, Florida: Police Officer Arrested on Child Pornography Charges, Officials Say

                Sgt. Kyle Kirby was arrested by the FBI Wednesday morning following a search of his home, reports say. The FBI will further investigate Kirby’s involvement with the community's local youth.

                        The Atacama Desert in Chile, the driest non-polar desert on Earth, has become covered with flowers after rainfall linked to El Niño weather. The bloom is expected to be over sometime in November.

                                            @mlnews I was thinking all of these pictures were of opium fields, until I saw the kids there.

                                            Now I know their opium fields, damn big humans teaching little ones how to make money....
