Best Android Exchange Client

@scottalanmiller The OWA app or the web app? I know that Microsoft is pushing their "full" Office apps development on Android and iOS pretty hard. I wouldn't be surprised if the OWA app is deprecated soon.

Ummm... I don't know how to differentiate. Real OWA. OWA is an app and it runs on the web. It is part of Exchange.
There used to be an OWA app for Android. I believe it is now called "Outlook" though.

Whoops, confused the Android thread with the non-Outlook thread.

Outlook for Android just left beta today. You might give that a whirl.
Does it actually support notifications for multiple folders? most don't. TouchDown was the only one that I found that did. I wish I could find something for Windows Phone that does.
I haven't found anything other that having outlook installed that does on any platform.
TouchDown does on both iOS and android. Neither android or iOS native clients do. I think the outlook one syncs all but I don't think it does well with push notifications for all folders on android anyway.

The iOS one gives me all of my folders, but only alerts on Inbox.

That's the problem with most of them.

I'm using Outlook on my Android tab but I don't use the tab very often as it's aggravatingly slow. The performance of my Lumia 620 (literally half the RAM and CPU specs) is orders of magnitude better.
-
I'll give the tab another go in the next few days. I've liked it so far. Nicer interface than the GMail app but that's not what we're discussing...

Since I will be traveling to the UK I will be using a Lumia 525 and a Samsung Tab4 (both Tmobile) for the trip. Setting them up now.

Interesting choice of phone. Why the 525 and not a 635?
What email client will you be using on the Sammy Tab? -
The 525 was just sitting around from a past employee. We do not get Tmobile service here where I am so will only be using this phone while in the UK for 4 days. I wish I could justify an IPhone cause I hate the windows phones (might be better now but was horribly unstable last I used them).
The Tab I will be using OWA I think. Not sure will try out a few see what I like I have a week or so to test.

@Minion-Queen Make sure the 525 is updated to WP8.1. There are some significant improvements moving from WP8 to WP8.1. The 525 might come with 8.1 natively though, I can't remember.

Quick check and it's 8 but "upgradable to 8.1"

(make sure it's using the "Denim" update before yo jet off) -
Thanks!

Definitely upgrade.
I agree with the 635 though - I have one, I really like it even though I'm running beta Windows 10 on it and it has issues.. they are beta issues I live with.
Now I'm waiting on the 640 XL

I'm hoping that the new Lumia flagship gets announced soon and is allowed on T-Mobile. The reports that it has been spotted in tracking data is promising.

One was promised when Windows 10 preview was released.. I'm expecting it to be release at or near the same time as Windows 10.

I thought about that but then I discovered that the specs are near identical to the 735. The camera, screen and size are the only real differences. I reckon save your money unless you want to get a bigger phone

I have the Lumia 1520. Running 8.1. I like it pretty well. I tried the 920 a couple years ago one 8 and hated it because of some of the issues and lack of apps back then. Now all the appps expect my SSL VPN are there. I tried windows 10 on it. I can't do it. I use windows 10 one my laptop and can live with temprory usability issues but I can't live with the design issues of text being outside of bounding boxes etc that windows 10 preview had on the 1520.
