Ubiquiti introduces EdgeRouter X

I will happily accept that anecdotal evidence of seeing them "all the time" is more likely to be meaningful than anecdotal of "never having seen one." If one person saw crickets all the time and another person never saw one, it doesn't suggest that there are no crickets but only that crickets are possibly localized.
My experience is mostly limited, on site that is, to NY, Texas, Pennsylvania and South Carolina in any broad sense. And NY which is my broadest experience tends to have different products or the potential for that compared to most US markets (many alcoholic drinks common in the US aren't legal in NY for example.)
But it is still valuable and both cases are anecdotal.
As more people say that they have seen them for years, I'm more and more surprised that I've never even seen them in a store - which I go to I assume as often as anyone else. But if they are really just everywhere, I'm just shocked. I wonder why I continue to never encounter one (in the US.)

I found a pretty cool command to monitor ports on an EdgeMax switch with Wireshark. You will need plink, which you can download from Putty's website.
plink -l username -pw password [EdgeMax Address] sudo /usr/sbin/tcpdump -i eth0 -w - not port 22 | "c:\Program Files\Wireshark\Wireshark.exe" -k -i -
Where [EdgeMax Address] is the IP address or name of your EdgeMax router.

Everything is setup and running great!

Awesome. I'm seriously hoping that I can get one over the summer.

I ordered the 5 port model on Friday - plan to put it side by side with the SonicWall, test it out and migrate everything off the SonicWall.
Time to dig the manuals out on how to setup VOIP through it.

TP-Link switch is working excellent as well!
