Windows 10 on Surface Pro 3

Is Cortana better than Siri? I usually just ended up disabling Siri both because it never worked that well and I would always accidentally turn it on. I don't really care for the one in Android either.
-
@thecreativeone91 I've only used it a little bit and I've never had to repeat myself, as of right now I would have to pick cortana over siri
-
I have been debating trying 10. might have to do this tomorrow
-
Cortana is tops. I'd use it more on my phone if I didn't have to have my GPS on

The only thing I found last night to have a problem with is that I could not adjust my brightness. Auto adjust doesnt work and when you use the fn+backspace/del it shows the dial going up and down, but nothing happens.
-
The brightness thing is somewhat annoying but I would still do it again. I also like the notification feature thing.

@Minion-Queen I've recently noticed my battery life has gone down the toilet.

Ok good to know. I will hold off than. I will be traveling in a couple weeks and had planned on taking just that (instead of the heavy MacBook and an ipad too).

I've been using my Yoga with Windows 10 on it pretty heavy this past weekend - no issues have come forward for me. Might be time to start using it at work and see how things go.
FYI I do notice that it gets pretty darned warm, border line hot!. Not sure that's a Windows 10 thing though.
-
I had it installed on my SP3 a while back but I had the following issues:
Constant Fan - I assume it was still indexing but I never could get it to run well without being hot.
Office 2013 Problems - Excel would lock up often, especially when selecting FIND/REPLACE>
Not tablet ready - It just didn't seem tablet ready. I would try to PIN things like Kindle Books or OneNotes to the Start Screen and it would just lock up and return me to the desktop.Mind you, I did an in place upgrade and I usually do clean installs...I do hope the above has improved in later builds.
I was able to roll back to Windows 8.1 (though I had to reinstall everything)

I have seen enough about the getting hot and battery issues to dissuade me from moving to 10 just yet.

I wouldn't just yet...if for the battery issues alone on the Surface Pro 3...
