@AmanBhogal So what is the plan on the one time cost servers?

It is stated in many searches that I have done that the one time cost is all limited time. You are obviously driving up name recognition. Great.

But the server monthly costs are higher than what I will pay for anything other than the dev 1 price point. For $10/month I can begin to find things that fit the need I have in already existing channels. They may not be full VM guests like this, but they will be everything needed for the task at hand.

Anybody who purchases a one time server does not have any monthly recurring charges.

If you are buying a dev server, for example a Dev 2 server, the pricing options are set up that way to allow users to consider how long they will require the server for. Some users only need a server for 2 months... $10 / month is a very fair price to charge, and for the user, extremely low amount to pay...

If you are keeping your dev server for a while and are going to have it more than 7 months, a one time $70 fee is amazing... never worry about paying for your server again. Especially when you're getting 20% off.... **$56 for a lifetime Dev 2 server. **

Are there any restrictions (other then capacity) on the Dev line as compared to the Big Dog line?

Windows not available until you get to the Big Dogs.

Sorry if I was not clear on the concern. Your site clearly states the one time cost is a temporary thing. I want to know if there are plans for that to go away or not.

For the ease of a couple month server space, this is looking like a really nice setup for short term systems.

For the price point of a one time cost, this is also a really nice setup for longer lasting systems.

The one time cost differentiates us from others in the marketplace and has been working very well for us.
I have not heard of any plans to remove that offer anytime soon.

That would be good. It is a major differentiator. Makes a huge difference.

                              That looks tops.
Do many people use the two low end packages?
What do you you lot use them for?

                              • I'd like to set one up but I don't know what I'd use it for.

Yes, those one time cost plans are very different and the reason I am attracted to the service. The clients I serve do not tend to do things for short time frames. so a server here paid once is just a great idea for something that will run for 2-4 years

You should be able to do that effectively inside of the OS.

CentOS with LAMP and ISP Config 3 or Froxlor would be the easiest way unless you want to pay for Cpanel..
