@scottalanmiller Being the only man in a house of five, I have been thoroughly trained. I caught myself putting down the seat in a public restroom after I used it.
Opposite here. I'm the only man in a house of four but all have been taught to keep the lid down, open toilets are kinda gross and with women in the house, very accident prone. That lesson has kept SO MANY THINGS from falling into toilets. I'm the only member of the family that isn't routinely dropping something onto the toilet lid that would have otherwise gone "sploosh."
Wha? How often are people carrying stuff into the bathroom?
Constantly. Toilet paper rolls, phones, towels, shampoo bottles, soap and the kids always take toys to the tub for bath time.

So if you put the lid down, do you get puddles on the floor? I'm convinced this is what happens.
I put the lid down to avoid toilet plume and here is why you should too and you're welcome.

I'm kind of considering buying a gaming laptop for the first time. This seems like a really good deal: https://www.amazon.com/GL753VE-DS74-G-SYNC-Gaming-i7-7700HQ-7200RPM/dp/B01N2WG5HN?th=1

That's like an upgraded, and larger, version of mine. Good stuff.

Just don't expect much in the way of battery life.

Or proper venting of heat Many reasons I have not done laptop gaming yet. It's tough.

@scottalanmiller : How does the ROG do when gaming? Does it do well at not roasting the laptop from the heat generated?

Scott loves his rog but he typically plays indie games. I don't think anything too crazy graphically
