I saw a $50 8-ft HDMI cable at bestbuy so its not uncommon. At least this one does more

I've also seen a ft USB cable at monoprice for $1.99 and it worked wonderfully.

Lexicon means that. Or as stated. The lexicon is the vocabulary. Lexical is referring to it, your wording was a bit confusing
