I've never played DnD.
I do like Apples to Apples, Cards against humanity and dutch blitz a lot though.
DnD is fun... not my favorite RPG, that tends to go to rules-lite systems dealing with Lovecraftian horror. It was really the only one I could get people to play regularly though.
Check out Ticket to Ride if you want another great addition to your gaming cabinet.

D&D is awesome, but if you get a group that doesn't know how to play or isn't into it it can suck like crazy. But a good group is ridiculously fun.

On the plus side I started a DnD group using Roll20 and that is much easier to organize.
I run a D&D 5e game via Roll20 every other Tuesday.

Roll20
Whoa that's a cool website
Fantasy Grounds is the semi official one because they can now legally sell modules and content.
I do not use it due to the cost. Roll20 is really solid though. I have a subscription for that simply to prevent my players (and myself) from seeing ads. but only I need the subscription. Not my players.

Just in case you ever wondered what would happen if you put your hand in liquid nitrogen:
Youtube Video -
That's pretty cool. And a bit foolish
-
Should be noted that this is all the effect that means that liquid nitrogen is worthless for cooling CPUs. It vaporizes so fast that the CPU doesn't get a chance to have its heat carried away. Hence why we knew instantly that Liquid Nitrogen Overclocking was a scam.

LNO!
OMG that was so funny/sad back when it happened. -
It would have been nothing but funny if community management wasn't getting infuriated that people were not attempting to placate a paying customer, even when they had been warned that it was a scam before the advertising started. That made it just sad. It could have been just a good time had that not happened.

@nadnerB I can't imagine that that tastes good.

@scottalanmiller oh I can't wait to try it I've been looking for it in the local supermarket for it every time I go.
