I can't imagine only working on one monitor.
I have had two monitors for so long I have been saying for a year I need a third!
Over the last 4 years I have turned my business clients into multi monitor users!

I had three but went down to two and didn't really notice. The jump from one to two is huge, but from two to three I didn't find so useful.

Maybe that's because the real sweet spot is bolded text4!

I'm used to traders having setups like that, up to nine monitors. It's cool and I can see scenarios where that would work well. I rarely do live monitoring, though, which is perfect for lots of monitors. For the type of work that I do, two to three seem to be ideal. You have to balance real estate, context switching (human optical) and task separation to find what is optimal for your use cases.

Yeah I can see that...see that...lol. Seriously, I have even consider desktop switching. I really only thought of an extra monitor to keep my Marketing/web dev work separate from my other Tech work.

I prefer to completely change the desktop rather than looking to another monitor for that.

Which Windows program would you recommend?

I don't use one currently. When on Linux it is a feature that I really like. I am so busy these days that working on multiple projects isn't an option currently
