      InfoWorld has a list of the 15 essential open source tools for Windows Administrators.

      Not much of a list, I'm afraid.

            It would be interesting to hear who is using which of these tools and why.
            I use 7zip, putty (part of WinSCP), Notepad++, VirtualBox and have looked into AMANDA, but found that Zamanda was bought out by Carbonite.

              NTG uses 7zip, PuTTY, Notepad++, VirtualBox too.

                @scottalanmiller , you should check out KiTTY. Built from PuTTY but way nicer!
