Google Hoping to Update Angular.js

JavaScript is where it is at today. In the browser, on the server, and Google is leading the charge in performance optimization.

What I find really interesting is that Android users might be the big losers here because of issues around updating their platforms.

I don't really consider this an Android problem. It's really a carrier problem because they lock down the device and don't allow users to do updates. Granted I understand why they don't - fewer support calls, so it's really a double edged sword.

It is kind of an Android problem. Apple and Microsoft address this problem in their license. Apple not allowing iPhone to be out if date and unstable is one of the key features.
Android is too "free" for its own good. People are free to have it not work and no vendor is making sure that you get a reliable experience.

It's really true. It makes it amazing for hobbyists and people for whom entertainment value and flexibility rule. But for professionals and people who need a rock solid phone experience, it fails.
