Last character is getting dropped

I've seen this happen to me twice now.
I noticed it on the What Are You Doing Right Now thread because I was tagging @scottalanmiller and @Minion-Queen and they were showing up at @Minion-Quee and @scottalanmille because I had no period or anything. Also, a space can't be your last character, as it cleans all trailing spaces up in posts.

Remember that ALL bugs should be posted to community.nodebb.org, not here. This is not the community for NodeBB.
Ok, can I get a link one more time??

This is ironic.

This is ironic.
No, that is the very definition of coincidental. It was expected to happen. Nothing happened that wasn't expected and nothing was the inverse of the attempt.
-
Even coincidence is pushing it here. It's like saying my car won't start. Then someone else tries to start the same car and says "What a coincidence, the car won't start." Of course it doesn't start, we already knew that. It's a created coincidence which isn't really a coincidence.
Like if you and I say "Let's go to the mall." Then we drive there together. And then get out of the car, look at each other and say "What a coincidence seeing you at the mall!"
Doesn't really make sense.
You need coincidence AND a reversal of expectation caused by effort to get irony. Coincidence is pushing it here and the reversal doesn't exist.

Developers have identified the issue and it is patched. The code is being updated now. We should see it fixed soon.
This issue is breaking the embedded YouTube videos too.

LOL,.. just happened to think about how modems would drop carrier... though this is only one charater
-
still doing it-

@scottalanmiller well, you're the dope that said "coincidence", so you can't get on your soap-box about how it's not a coincidence. If so, you shouldn't have said it in the first place..

It is kind of amazing how quickly nodeBB is fixing this bug. I don't think I've seen many software project (closed or open) do it like that.

We reported a bug, and from what @scottalanmiller has said, we're their flagship basically. It would behoove them to fix it quickly...
-
We implemented the fix, but the problem is remaining.

There we go, we got it.
