InfoPath Support
-
I've been hesitant to ask this for a number of reasons, least of which is that InfoPath is End of life.
That said - Are there any suggestions on getting some general support for this? While we are looking for an alternative, we have some simple and stupid simple items that need to be addressed.
The vendors we have been in contact with have been a no go thus far... Offering support in the weeks and excessive cost...

Considering the end of life situation, not surprised the price is high - they are pushing to have you move to something else instead, or pay the high price of not.
Good luck!

wow, I'd forgotten that InfoPath existed!

That's something you commit to when you decide to run legacy software or hardware and want support. That's where support costs are highest.

I don't know all of what is needed - as I'm not included in that circle. But I have been told that one of the littlest things needed is changing an email address. That simple. Change from this person to another person (should be a distro / security group to ....never mind).
We need -the quick fix- so that we can address the point that it's EOL and only going to worsen with support falling off.

make a rule in the the email system that checks for something from that machine and forwards it to the desired location... might be a doable workaround for now.
