For My Apple Users

This does make me laugh.. but for the environment - I can't blame apple for being behind - their environment is really secure on the phone....

I still have my Galaxy S3 and honestly haven't really needed to upgrade. It's like owning a 10yr old car; tons of cheap parts and well documented online how-to's. I'd rather spend $100 on something I really want/need, a few craft beer 6-packs, and put the rest in savings.

Too bad for many years you couldn't use most of those features on android cause everything was so buggy. and you always had to spend time rooting because of all the bloatware..
Yes.. I play the devils advocate. I'm not biased toward either side. I use both.

@MattKing I know it. I just found out that I don't have IR capabilities, S4 does. AND the only reason I looked is so I could use the phone to control my TV. How sad is that?
I was thinking about a Note 3 but I would rather have one to try for a month first before giving up that money.

In our household my wife and youngest son (22) are avid Apple fans and have iPad and iPhones. I am the Android user and they both had Androids but only gingerbread . My Asus Transformer is ICS and my S3 is JB.

There are some really cool apps that are universal remote control apps. I've seen people go into bars and start screwing with their TVs. It's kinda bad but funny at the same time.

The ASUS Transformer was a great tablet. Well ahead of its time when it came out.

@ajstringham Still is a great tablet...use my TF101 (original) daily.

That it is. I know people who still have Transformers. I, personally, have always thought the Galaxy phones were better than the tablets. I thought the ASUS tablets were among some of the best Android tablets out there.

Posts like this just show how immature a lot of people really are.
Anyone who cannot see the other side of something simply needs to be relegated to the side along with the hard core conservatives and screwball left wing nut jobs.

I personally use an iPhone because this device is my lifeline to my work. I cannot have a device that is not rock solid handling my stuff. I do not have the spare time to futz with my paycheck.
Now, if I was not so reliant on my mobile for all daily activities, I would most certainly have an android with no contract that I could keep current without waiting for the carrier to push an update.
Android has so much going for it in the flexibility department, but that same flexibility is what makes it not a device I want to be dealing with all day everyday.

I think at the end of the day it's all preference personally. I lost my phone last night, I used my security app to lock my phone, turn on GPS, and then found out it was just in my driveway haha. That's all I need, to access my data, and protect it if I lose it.
For me? I'm just cheap (and the misses wants a new kitchen island).
EDIT: Not @JaredBusch, just a general monologue.

I'll be gettin the new 6+ and I'm excited.
