Solved EPEL for RHEL8 and Oracle Enterprise Linux
-
So I have a system that is being required to run on either RHEL 8 or OEL.
I know I will have to go out of the base packages to get some tools.
Is EPEL still the "right" thing to expand RHEL?
What about OEL? I've never dealt with using OEL prior to know.

In the end I tried RHEL and OEL for the project.
RHEL uses EPEL.
OEL has their own EPEL repo.

OEL claims they are the open source version of RHEL (Like CentOS used to be). I've never run it myself, because Oracle.
EPEL is still the "right" thing to epand on RHEL, yes.

EPEL is still the standard, yeah.
