LOL - this is like saying - who cares if O365 is down... tons of businesses use gmail for business, and I'm not talking the free gmail shit.. I'm talking the paid.. and very likely they all use the same SMTP servers.

Even those that pay, almost everyone (business or personal) uses free Gmail accounts somewhere. Even if you are the biggest of big companies like Apple or Exxon - either internally or externally (customers), you use Gmail.

Wow. Talk about a disconnect with reality. Try what again, the person emailing you was told the account was gone. Why would a user try again?
Urgent? How do you know you need to be called if the urgent alert never reached you?

Yeah... but only by the time you can get to a phone and get hold of your relatives that still actually have land lines, all of the TP is already gone.

We use Google services here. We had a quirk around 6am-7am on Monday. No end-user issues reported since that 1 hour. However all of our facilities are within TX.
