Does anyone know if it is possible to restore the OS VMX without restoring the VMXs that contain the databases? I have multiple incremental and Fulls on Veeam I just need to see if it is possible without hosing the database drives hosting the mailbox DBs.

Given that it is Veeam, I feel really confident that this would be no problem. Since it is separate VMXs, even if you did a restore and for some reason it forced you to restore both, you could always manually go to a different version of the database VMX.

@scottalanmiller I was considering rolling them back to last night as a last-ditch scenario is all fails since it is on Veeam and I have a Full from last night.
