theme problems with code blocks

I keep seeing code blocks change formatting in the same threads, alternating from light to dark. It is just the code blocks doing this from what I can tell, but I have no idea why. I am on the default theme.
Example:
Both of these were take from this thread, just a couple of minutes apart.

Things have been a little slow to load at times today.
Possibly the CSS is loading slow when you see that.
