Remote Connect/Support Tools for Fedora, Windows, OS X
-
We had this discussion re support tools:
https://mangolassi.it/topic/17279/fedora-with-screenconnect/61This tool looks like it has potential.
It's self-hosted & supports Linux, Windows & Mac clients.
I've only done very limited testing on a Fedora 28 & Server 2019 client. -

I've only done very limited testing on a Fedora 28 & Server 2019 client. That is insanely crazy expensive compared to multiple other tools.

Actually, no. That is on par with ScreenConnect's original pricing plan.

Um, yes. I compared what we use combined, for our fleet and it's something like 5-10k vs 132k (for 550 pcs). That's insanely more expensive.

Oh I see, "per session". So you get all that monitoring, and everything else for free so long as you never use any "sessions"?

Well not free, $300 for one license. Allows one tech to be connected.

Seems really interesting with the monitoring and the ability to have custom alerts.
@FATeknollogee How has the testing been going?

Haven't done much more than my OP.
I plan to do some more testing over the weekend.
My main goal is to find a ScreenConnect replacement.
