UPS WorldShip 2018 on Windows 10 1803

Anyone run into issues with this combination yet? I'm doing an install here, Windows 10 fully updated, and it is failing to run after install. Reinstalled a few times, several reboots, but it just seems to be missing packages. Wondering if this is something anyone has seen or just a one off. This is my first install of this combination so I have no idea.

Looks like Worldship might not be working with Windows 10 without manual intervention.

After four installs, and one WIndows 1803 update, it started working. It's running now.

Oh but it crashes out at testing direct access. It's not stable enough to get all of the way started up.

Compatibility Mode helps?

Ive got that software installed on shipping pc here. It works, I think it is on 1803 now but i would have to check to make sure.

Oh, you're on 1803. I have not done an install of UPS WS 2018 on 1803. I am guessing it is specific to 1803.

Definitely not true. I have 5 places running it. All Windows 10 1709 or 1803.

Have not done a new install though. All were upgraded.

I have not done an install from scratch on 1803 but mine are in 3 places with Windows 10 1703 and 1709.

UPS managed to do a fresh install and got it working.

Yeah, over and over. They did a full uninstall, rather than just following the instructions to install over the top. But I suspect they changed something else, too.

Seems fine for our customer. Reinstalling may or may not be easy, no idea.
