I am a member of the Talent Acquisition team here at Hitachi Data Systems and am currently conducting a search for a “Technical Resource Center Analyst” role in San Diego, CA.

Hitachi Data Systems is one of the top 3 storage vendors in the world, with about 6000 employees across the globe. We do business in more than 100 countries and our customers include more than 80% of the Fortune Global 100. We’ve been listed on Fortune Magazine’s “Top 100 Companies to Work For” in 2013 & 2014, as well as being recognized as one of the “World’s Most Ethical Companies” in 2013! Needless to say, things are going well here…

The “Technical Resource Center Analyst” will provide either level 1 or level 2 (depending on experience and depth of technical expertise) professional technical support to HDS customers and partners in a large enterprise environment, with duties which include working with customers on problem discovery, documentation, diagnosis and resolution, as well as working with development on product bugs and issues to ensure successful problem resolution and customer satisfaction.

If interested, please e-mail me at [email protected], including your updated resume and compensation expectations. Thanks!

Dang it, I just took a position with another firm 😞

For others, as someone who's worked with HDS's HUS, AMS, and HNAS products, I can safely say that it would be a "dream job" for a storage-inclined IT professional. The entry-level support issues are comparatively complex, so you wouldn't get bored for a while to come. They're also very big on training for not only employees, but partners and clients as well.
