Anybody ever use abuse@somedomain for sending abuse complaints, and get them resolved? Just got a bunch of mysql injection attempts to our portal site from a datacenter/hosting company in Dallas, sent in abuse report through the hosting company website. I think this is the first time i have done so.

I have , specially AOL and big companies.

I think that I have, but boy has it been a long time.

I will randomly do it if I happen to think of and have the spare moment to do so. Mostly I get no responses. But I have had an occasional non-automated response.
