I am not so good into networking and would like to get some help here.

I will be setting up 10GB network to support my new Nutanix Cluster.

I may need to enable RSTP according to the folks from dell deployment to prevent looping of network. Can someone help? How technical it is to create RSTP? On the ports of LAG only?

Cisco has a guide to Understanding Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol, or RSTP / 802.1w.

Setting it up should not be too bad.

Is there a reason that they've designed the network with a loop of this nature? It can happen, but is it necessary here?

This guide seems like it will be a good starting point.
