Text spacing and hyperlinks

I've noticed in my posting today that the space preceding a hyperlink is being removed from posts.
Example:
I am sending an E-mail to [email protected].
What it should be: I am sending an E-mail to[one blank space] [email protected].
What it is: I am sending an E-mail to [email protected]. -
What browser? I can confirm the issue on Firefox Quantum.

Using chrome happened to me in a PM now that I think about it

In safari on iOS it inserts some weird text as well...

But it has stopped since an hour ago, maybe already fixed...

That comes form the Emoji plugin @scottalanmiller was poking at.
I think that is a symptom of the reason they do not work. He has to have something else setup in NodeBB that is causing that to happen because it does not on my forum.

The spacing issue is here. Again, this is a issue only here.
