Improvements to remote command execution. This week the remote command execution dialog box was improved so that you can specify if a command must be run as the mesh agent, or run as the currently logged in user on the primary console if a user is logged in. This is super useful since you can now launch an application on your user’s desktop remotely. For example, run “notrepad.exe” as the logged in users and notepad will launch on the user’s desktop.Wow, that's some awesome stuff.

iPhone 12: Apple makes jump to 5G
Apple has confirmed its iPhone 12 handsets will be its first to work on faster 5G networks.
The company has also extended the range to include a new "Mini" model that has a smaller 5.4in screen. The US firm bucked a wider industry downturn by increasing its handset sales over the past year. But some experts say the new features give Apple its best opportunity for growth since 2014, when it revamped its line-up with the iPhone 6. "5G will bring a new level of performance for downloads and uploads, higher quality video-streaming, more responsive gaming, real-time interactivity and so much more," said chief executive Tim Cook. There has also been a cosmetic refresh this time round, with the sides of the devices getting sharper, flatter edges. The higher-end iPhone 12 Pro models also get bigger screens than before. However, for the first time none of the devices will be bundled with headphones or a charger. "Tim Cook [has] the stage set for a super-cycle 5G product release," commented Dan Ives, an analyst at Wedbush Securities. -

Apple has been lagging on innovation since they started on phones. Even ipads were just a reskin of a tablet presented in 2000.

Twitter and Facebook's action over Joe Biden article reignites bias claims
The way Twitter communicated its handling of a controversial article about US presidential hopeful Joe Biden was "unacceptable", its chief has said.
On Wednesday, Twitter prevented people from posting links to a New York Post story, warning those trying to click it that the link was "potentially unsafe". It only later explained it had limited sharing because the story contained "hacked materials". Facebook also took action, limiting the report's distribution in its news feed. It said it had done this as part of a "standard process" to give third-party fact-checkers time to review the content and decide if it should be treated as misinformation. However, it is highly unusual for an article published by one of the mainstream popular newspapers to be treated in this way. It is now less than three weeks until Mr Biden, the Democratic candidate, faces the Republican incumbent Donald Trump in the presidential election on 3 November. -
Twitter changes policy after Biden article block
Twitter has updated a policy which led it to block people from sharing a link to a story from the New York Post about Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.
The Hacked Materials policy initially blocked Twitter users from sharing content that had been acquired as a result of a hack. Twitter's Vijaya Gadde has now said posts will be flagged as containing hacked material, rather than blocked. However material shared directly by hackers will still be removed. The article contained screenshots of emails allegedly sent and received by Hunter Biden, presidential candidate Joe Biden's son. It also contained personal photos of Hunter Biden, allegedly removed from a laptop computer while it was undergoing repairs at a store. Initially Twitter did not explain why the link could not be shared: CEO and founder Jack Dorsey described the lack of clarity behind Twitter's earlier decision as "not great". -

Apple has never been a leader in cutting edge tech, they've always tended to see what is "hot" and imitate it with an Apple spin.

Tokyo Olympics: Russian hackers targeted Games, UK says
Russian hackers targeted this year's Olympic Games with the aim of disrupting them, UK officials say.
The Foreign Office said the GRU, Russian military intelligence, had carried out "cyber reconnaissance" against officials and organisations involved in the Tokyo Games. That included organisers, sponsors, and logistics providers. Officials did not, however, specify the nature or extent of the cyber-attacks in detail. The attacks took place before the Tokyo Olympics was postponed until 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic. UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said the attacks were "cynical and reckless". "We condemn them in the strongest possible terms," he said. "The UK will continue to work with our allies to call out and counter future malicious cyber-attacks." -

Exactly
It was meant to be 10 minute movies for the moble platform only, subscription based. I saw a few commercials for it, but wasn't at all interested.

The group of people who have the least expendable cash of any group!
I wonder how that project planning meeting went.
"I have an idea, lets make a platform for 10 minute studio quality movies, but designed for the mobile platform, broke millennials will gobble it up, we'll charge only $5/month"

No different than any other platform that makes billions off that same group - the parent pay for it.
Look at all of the micro payment games... again for youngin's and millenials - yet they make bank!

Huawei Mate 40 phones launch despite chip freeze
Huawei has unveiled its Mate 40 smartphones claiming they feature a more "sophisticated" processor than Apple's forthcoming iPhones.
The component was made using the same "five nanometre" process as its US rival's chip, but contains billions more transistors. As a result, the Chinese firm claims its phones are more powerful. However, Huawei has had its supply of the chips cut off because of a US trade ban that came into effect in September. That means that once its stockpile of the new Kirin 9000 processors runs out, it faces being unable to make more of the Mate 40 handsets in their current form.
