SW First Post Thread

I was the top poster of all time by a good margin by May, 2009.

There is my first post.

Unfortunately I had my accounts merged in the wayback, and all it moved over was my badges, so my earliest listed post is 2010 despite having been a user since Beta. I suppose I could see if Google could help me out with that old account...

I think I was recommending Meraki... how far I've come.

That really was my first. So March 2nd, 2009. That's the first one. And I just found the real thread that started it all....
-
Found it. All that remains of that account that was "merged":

This has to be (not to took my own horn) the most famous post ever on Spiceworks. One day, I posted some very clearly needed corrections to misinformation on SW where people were attacking open source and @akp982 provided the challenge that took me from ~15 posts over every days to the top poster of all time in just a few weeks...

Ohh and not meaning to be bitchy but you have 18 contributions to spiceworks community I have how many?

His response also made no sense since I was the one saying that RoR and SQLite already worked on Linux, but he responded as if I had said the opposite.
But that was the gauntlet being thrown that caused me to be so active.

I made Mace on July 7th, 2009. I was the first person to make Mace. That is the same week that I started my THIRD SpiceCorps and also the same week that I was the first SpiceHead to drop in on HQ.
-
Wow, if March 2nd was my first post ever, and March 10th is when I become a serious poster, it's amazing that I started SpiceCorps NYC on March 30th! Damn.

I learned how to do it from @dbeato so don't feel badly. I had no idea.

I wish that we could see when we hit different pepper levels, just as a speed comparison. Looks like I did Datil in eight weeks from first post, habanero in nine weeks and Mace in about twelve.
