Cannot setup Google Drive on NextCloud
-
I am following the instructions here:
https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/9/admin_manual/configuration_files/external_storage/google.html
I have created oAuth 2.0 Credentials in the developer console many times and this seems pretty standard. I am following the instructions and setup my redirect URIs just like the NextCloud guide.
When trying to connect I am getting:

Here is my configuration:

Did not work much over the weekend.
I had problems last week trying to add google drive to a WordPress updraft install. I've done it more than once before and finally gave up and sent it to Dropbox.
So, no helpful answer right now.

I have never issues with Updraft on many installs, but that leads me to believe the issue may be on Google's end.
I have been googling this issue and it seems pretty straightforward. I have gone through the instructions multiple times.

Yeah, the only other explanation is that there was a change in the API from Google but I doubt they'd do that without telling people

It's Google, they've changed things without notice before

Have you heard any other issues related to this or is it just me?

Unfortunately I am using a hosted CPanel install of NextCloud. Which means my host has restricted large uploads from their level and changing the htaacess file and user.ini file in Nextcloud has no effect.
So I pretty much have to have Google. I was able to setup Dropbox within seconds, but they only give free users 2GB. Google gives you 15GB and 100GB for $2.99 a month.

So you do not have access to your php settings file? Could you ask them to increase that limit? Seems like a standard thing.
Also, vultr.com offers a full VPS and 50GB of storage for $5/month, might think about going that way if the current host is so limited.

Yes, but I only need 7GB and I don't think I will go over 10GB. So the 15GB google drive will be free.
