Outlook.com on iPhone Vicious Circle - Quotas, Verification's, and Mailbox Full
-
The owners' wife (which means top priority) is having some crazy Outlook.com issues. I recently set up a new Outlook.com account on her iPhone since she recently changed her name. All of that went well and it seemed to be OK last week.
Today, she let me know that she was getting some odd messages. First, then she tried to send email she got this message:
So, I log into her Outlook.com account and one of the first thing it has me do is a CatchPhrase to make sure she isn't SPAM. I do that and then she says it is working.
She lets me know a while longer that it isn't working with this message about the mailbox being full...
That one I can't explain...but we did verify her account again and it started working again. Then, she got a message that said she was over the daily quota.
She is out of state, so I can't get my hands on the phone. She is being very patient but she uses this for business and personal use and I can get out of this vicious circle.
Only seems to be a problem from the Phone...the Outlook.com website seems to be working OK but she primarily uses her phone.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Any chance her account has been Phished or hacked?

It's an account issue. Is there a way to verify she is genuine with a mobile number or something? Been ages since I set one up.

Yup, this is about her account, not her phone. Log into her Outlook.com account and deal with it there, not via the phone. And Outlook.com is not a business tool, that can't be helping.

That is like telling me that hotmail.com is not a business tool. Oh wait.....

I've gone to the website and verified as much as I can...still a problem on the phone...and agreed, she needs a business email but I can't help in that area...

Try removing it from the phone, wait a day then try setting it up again.

Any progress?
