Yep, it's a good system and can do some pretty powerful things.

You don't actually need to log into your PC to see different exchange users. You can go into the control panel, Mail applet and change the default behavior from a selected Outlook profile to a drop down list of all those on the current profile. I do this all the time. You can even add new profiles directly from that screen when launching Outlook.
Just an FYI for a different future troubleshoot.
Coliver's suggestion is the best for your current situation.

Sure, of course. I only mentioned it for other purposes of needing to connect to the account, not for compliance ones.

The content search has been awesome but running into a problem...management challenged me to a this OR this OR this search and everything after Feb 01, 2014. Seems easy to do but it still seems to pull in data pre-Feb 2014 and management wants me to try to fix that but can't . Any suggestions?

I think it executes in order for some reason. Have you tried putting the OR clause for the date before anything else.

Are you certain which date field you are pulling against?
Because Exchange also tracks when something was brought into a mailbox or something.
I have run up against this when converting people from old systems to Exchange (on prem back then).
I would connect outlook to the new Exchange account and then drag everything from the old POP account into the Exchange account and it all worked fine, but then when I turned on archiving to archive the really ancient crap out to a PST for removal to cold storage, the auto archive did not process anything because nothing was older than 6 months in Exchange itself. Even though the emails were 10 years old.

The general date one would be what you want to do. Let me see if it is working on mine.

Yeah, the last query went from just standard DATE and pulled the same exact results as using RECEIVED and SENT.
