So because of THAT doing some kind of potential replication on the backend we need to look for running VM's elsewhere first.

right click on your 2003 VM and start it.

        NO

        no?

Looks like he has some VM named something to to with replication.

Yeah he has failover setup - well, his predecessor did. He saw log entries or something that showed if failed earlier

@wirestyle22 open another instance of the client to each host and verify what is running where.

Why not just use the vSphere web client?

Sure he might have to do a https://IP address:9443/vsphere-client to get there.

@wirestyle22 if you take him up on this, I would love to just listen in on the trouble shooting steps, if you're ok with it.

I am definitely interested in any education you are willing to offer but I think we are actually almost finished with this currently. Are you willing to sit with me for literally any amount of time tomorrow? I am a very eager learner.

@Dashrender unsure of the IP of that host. It has nothing running on it typically, but I can just assume that.

Assumptions are the mother of all *(&)&-ups.

Or it is running the replicas and shit is semi up right now.

                                        This is important.

Hit what you think it might be on 443, you should be greeted with the ESXi landing page.

In that case do the webex with John - NOW he can look through you system and help yo ufind the IPs of that server and make sure it's not running over there.
assuming it's part of this cluster
