Did we seriously just have a end user call to tell us she needed our administrative username and passwords. She started with the Tech and when that didn't work tried me then the DevOPs guys (who don't even have admin rights to everything).
huh - sounds like HR needs to be made aware of that employee and how they are threatening the company.
Of the FBI. When I worked at a bank, once the end user was told that they could not have access as it was a security violation, that was the end of story. Any further attempt to convince, coerce, bully, trick, etc. would be considered a social engineering hack and result in immediate removal from the building.

Sounds like a social engineering attack.
It was an internal user, a Clerk. She was walked out to her car with HR and our guards and since we have a gated lot made sure she left. Not sure if it was just for the day or what.

Yup, that's the way to handle it. Yes, all internal users for us too. I normally would make a quick call to their managers and be like "we are about to escalate this to an internal attack, do you want to step in or do you want the conversation to continue?"

This is exactly what I was thinking.

I needed to get quotes from multiple re-sellers. Is it bad I just sent the same email to all of them and BCC'ed it so they wouldn't know? haha #lazy

@thecreativeone91 done that one before, it's actually a smart move. Easy to find and compare later
