I am deaf and can lip read folks well enough to fake it for face-to-face interviews... but even then I warn them about my hearing problem because a lot of folks are so suprised by it... Skype really works well for that with Family. Strangers, not so much.

Owch... both ears or one? Some hearing aids can help fix that.

@dafyre just the right, a gentleman slipped on the firing line before everyone had ears and eyes on. Fortunately for everyone it went down range.

@dafyre craziest part is he was on my left, and to my right was a big wall. Doc said the bounce off the wall was what did me in.
