You have real Mexican up there, like walking distance away. No need for low end Tex Mex.

Colorado sure did. I loved every bit of it. There was a Mexican restaurant named guadalajara that I LOVED.
I think this was it:

Y'all do know that Mexican / Tex Mex can be seasoned, right? No need for Chipotle or Qdoba or any of that other chain nonsense. But then again, I scoff at places that serve lard free refried beans... WTF...

If you're going to get mexican/Tex-Mex, then you might as well come to the south where about every mexican/Tex-Mex restaurant is more than likely owned by a Mexican.

Yep, let me just hop in my car and drive 15 hrs+ every time I want mexican lol.

Or, when Quixotic becomes self-sufficient, you could just move down here.

You all are making me hungry, and it's not close to time for me to head over to Que Pasa yet. Yay Americanized food, much better than Taco Bell at least.
-
I thought you were not supposed to eat Mexican anywhere outside of Texas.

Colorado has a massive amount of authentic Mexican food as well.

I was specifically told NOT to eat Mexican in Maryland. I got a strange look there once when I asked for chicken fried steak.

Actually, Texas is one of the hardest places to get Mexican. Most Texans, I find, aren't even aware of Mexican food. They are so used to TexMex being called Mexican that they don't know what Mexican is. In the north, they are easier to find because it's Mexicans making Mexican food rather than Tejanos making TexMex and calling it Mexican.

You have to, you can't get Mexican in Texas. Texas has the best TexMex, but the worst Mexican.

Lol Scott has been trying to get me to move down to Texas for a while now. There is potential for this to happen.

Because it used to be Texas
