What Are You Doing Right Now
-
Want to know how many views MangoLassi serves up? This is the highest that we have ever seen but it is worth stating as the site remained responsive and working great while doing it. A few minutes ago ML was doing..... one view every 1/9th of a second! Higher than that, actually. Just under a view every tenth of a second. That's a lot of traffic!!
-
That is a lot of views! For that many I am surprised by how few really active users post. Must be a ton of lurking!

It's what a lot of professional mods have told me is pretty common. The rate of lurking is around 90% the rate of non-lurking. And even when we are at our most "lurker heavy" we never seen more than 80% and sometimes as low as like 10%.
-
Remember that as we grow the amount of search engine driven traffic of people coming to read existing threads gets bigger and bigger. So we start off with no lurkers but end up with more and more.

Why a lots of "content removed by moderator"?
-
@Joyfano If that's actually a thing (content blah blah) it should be scripted to pull randomly from a long list of really amusing words. Leave the tags < > so everyone knows it was an expletive.
Example: "Oh man, today was just complete <laffy-taffy> and I can't believe the user told me to <hiccup> off!"
