What Are You Doing Right Now

@BRRABill I got only the finest "Seiki" 40" 4k tv last year. It was manufacturers defect (4h timer shuts down TV no matter what you do). Works great, would recommend.

I can';t tell if you are serious or not, LOL.

@BRRABill actually serious lol - I don't recommend it for the 4k, but it's a solid 1080P monitor

@johnhooks i had an HP (no longer have it). Do you have some questions?
I ordered a Toshiba Chromebook 2. My wife has the same one, I really like it. It has a 1920x1080 IPS screen and 4GB RAM, just curious what other people had and their experiences.
I saw an ASUS 10" one that filds into a tablet, but I didn't know if I would ever use that and it had a rockchip processor.
I liked the interface but due to the fact EVERYTHING I do is so MS based it wasn't very useful to me. However I have suggested these to many people and everyone is really happy with them.
My wife loves her's.
Most of what I need is web and ssh access. I'll be putting crouton on so I can run Linux in a chroot also. That way I can use x2go or whatever else I need.

So I just hit the client java wall. I have a cheap dlink wireless camera. I set it up so I could check my 3d printer. The only way to view live video on the camera is either Java, ActiveX, or the phone client.

What does the cell phone have to allow it to work?

Overkill, but...
Setup a VM, get an RDP client for your phone

It's the dlink app. I'll just use that, I was just hoping to use it with my laptop.

I can use the app on the phone with their cloud viewer crap, I was just hoping to see it from my laptop without needing to pull out my phone.

I am currently trying to understand why I have a hard time making decisions.
This stupid TV still.
Too many thoughts in my head.

An app, one would presume

I'm the same way. So many choices.. hard to choose - buy cheap and expect to replace sooner, or buy more expensive (known good brand) and hope for longer?
-
Got one kid through the shower. Trying to get the second one to take one.

Oh that is torture.
The end of the day routine is the worst. Shower and bed is torture, torture, torture.

Of course the Westinghouse sold out while I went to dinner with the fam to discuss.
The other issue is that this is for XBOX, but will also be for casual watching in a bigger room. I'd say just get a 65" or 75" to replace the 55" in our TV room, but then I'm looking at $1000-$16000 instead of just having a smaller TV for under 300.
Too many choice across the board.

No torture here... I'm pretty settled to nod off...
Oh, you mean kids are torture for that routine... yes - they can be.,
