The sidebar ads aren't too bad. I like the way they are done in the Spiceworks community. They don't seem too intrusive to me, and some of them I have actually clicked (gasp!)!

I hate ads but I understand their purpose.
Don't put them in between posts.

We have empty space on the left and right for something small in size and dynamically scalable.

I've replaced Adblock Plus with uBlock and so far so good.

@nic You must try ublock and I would suggest you to try adblock plus. I recently readed that adblock plus is best adblocker. You can learn more about adblock plus vs adblock to understand its features.

I've not had good luck with either. But the Pi Hole worked great for me.

I use ublock origins and Pi Hole. When I'm off network with a phone or tablet without the Pi Hole, I just don't feel right anymore. Gonna have to set it up on my lab box and change all the things DNS to use it.

So many things work better when Pi Hole is in use.

Not only is this a spam post, it's a demonstrably incorrect statement. AdBlock Plus takes money from advertisers (like @sksharma clearly does) to mark their ads as "acceptable". uBlock doesn't take money from advertisers, works better and faster, and also doesn't join tech forums to try and drive traffic to their website.
