Chrome Hung in memory; prevents access to Google services

Having a minor issue for a client - They tried to get to their contacts but it just sat there loading until it came back "he's dead jim"
Killing all CHROME process and restarting worked.
This was an issue last week and I uninstalled, CCleanered the box, then reinstalled.Suggestions?

Force browser processes to close
Chrome uses a "multiple processes architecture", which means its processes are designed to work independent of one another. So issues in one tab shouldn’t affect the performance of other tabs or the overall responsiveness of the browser.
What happens when one process keeps the others from working or closing Chrome completely?
