These were a complete success! I'm so excited. The girls and I made these together and I'm snacking on them warm from the oven drool

Good thing I have to work so late tonight.

They taste as sweet to me, with a hint of honey, but I feel like they smell more like honey than you taste the honey. Scott is going to have to eat one and let me know what he thinks, although these are not wheat free.
-
and the texture is soft, not crispy, so depends on how you like your cookies. I like them soft.
-
@Dominica I agree - soft cookies are better than hard ones.

The wives? Or the wives' cookies?
-
Ok these sound good can I make them GF?
-
I think half this place is trying to stay GF now.
-
@Bill-Kindle Occasionally I bake cookies and other goodies to share at my Spice Corps meetings. There's nobody at home to eat them otherwise.
-
@scottalanmiller Cookies. Start talking cookies and I stop using proper punctuation.
-
I wish I didn't need to eat GF or CF but... I am stuck trying to find good tasting snack food.
-
@minion-queen I ran out of almond flour, so I didn't look for a GF recipe, but I'm sure there's one out there.
-
Find and test please
-
Almond flour is awesome!
-
@Minion-Queen lol, as soon as I replenish the almond flour supply I will do so.
-
I use a mix of almond and rice for most everything but I think once it is gone I will go to a mix of Almond and coconut.
-
I used to have a wife that made cookies. I miss her sometimes.
-
@Minion-Queen The GF / Real foods websites I've been visiting seem to prefer the almond and coconut flour combo, because they are more nutritious than rice flour. All of the yummy stuff I've made has a couple of TBS of coconut flour in with the almond, because it makes baked goods lighter in texture.

White chocolate chips FTW!!
