SSO for Google Apps

I am collecting information about SSO for use with Google apps. A client has a third-party service they are trying to link in.
Anyone have experience with this? -
Does the client's app support Google SSO?

Google SSO uses SAML.

Is the client asking if you can point them to the right people at google so they can learn how to add Google SSO to their product?

The client has a web-based app that will support SSO through Google apps.
They sent me this email with some kind of instructions that were copied and pasted from a website. (a link would have been better) I don't have enough information to actually carry out all this, so I replied to get some more from them. Mean-time, every time they are being asked for login credentials to their web-based service I get an email asking if we've set it up yet.

I'm not sure if Google SSO supports as hoc third party sites. Are you able to post the info that they provided here?

@scottalanmiller I can once I get it - the tool they're trying to use is called Rapportive, and there's a gmail plug in. Not sure it's the same thing at all.
Will post more when I can get more information out of them. -
Gmail plugin definitely doesn't suggest SSO compatibility.

Ah ha. You should point out to them that they keep bugging you yet it is not you but they who have been the hold up all along.
