I have used the Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard for about 2 weeks now. The first thing you notice when you unbox the keyboard is its very odd shape. Once you put the base on the keyboard the shape becomes even more odd. You noice that there is a downward slant from the padding to the F keys.

As odd as the keyboard looks, it feels natural and comfortable right away. It took me probably 30 minutes or so to get fairly used to the new keyboard. Within 2 days I was typing on it just as fast as standard keyboards. You probably wont believe how comfortable the keyboard is unless you use it.

The hardest thing to get used to is the separate keyboard and number pad. That took me a good 4 or 5 days to feel comfortable with it. There are a few keys that can become annoying. There is only one enter button on the keyboard and one on the number pad. If you like the use the right enter button at times on your keyboard when you don't use the number pad, it can be a little bit frustrating to retrain your fingers. The other issue is that there are no arrows on the number pad. So if you are typing an IP address in a browser, you cannot use arrows to select the history of the saved IP.

Overall I give this keyboard a 9/10. That might sound like a really high number considering the issues that I pointed out. However, the comfort is unmatched. Comfort is the reason you get an ergonomic keyboard in the first place, right? My wrists no longer are hurting or sore at the end of the day so it's definitely worth it to me.

At least the shift key under the Enter key on the right side of the keyboard is full sized! I really get frustrated when they put a small one there an stick in some third party key.

@Dashrender non-standardized keyboard layouts are the evil equivalent level of emperor palpatine.

I am starting to like having a separate number pad. You dont have to bend your wrists in an unnatural fashion to access it. I jut wish it had arrow keys 😛

I use the Sculpt--probably about 3 weeks now--and for the most part it's great. I got the mouse that came with it and I highly recommend against getting it. It's rounded and actually forces you to bend your wrist which is what you shouldn't be doing! Ended up going back to my Logitech and it's fine.

The separate number pad sucks, but it does keep your mouse closer to the keyboard which is also highly recommended. I don't use the number pad as much as I used to but I am finding myself using it more and more as I get used to the setup.

Overall it's a good keyboard and I haven't had any hand pain since going to it, though I had some when I first got it and was adjusting to it.
