About time, we really need something to replace traditional SATA and SAS as drives are just so fast today. Now how is a RAID card going to look for these, I wonder.

It seems to be more along the lines of an adapter or go between. It still uses the same buses and still has the same limitation of the technology that it is integrated into. Will be cool and usable for the mini-pc and laptop markets but I doubt it will replace SATA in the near future.
