Or on reclusiveness. That no job or anything expected her is bizarre. She must have really work to cut herself off from everyone.
What blows my mind is that she had so much of her life automated. So much money set aside for payment automation. Very strange.

She mummified. So whatever caused that might have kept the smell pretty low. You often don't smell things outside in fresh air that are just in the garage.

I've been hesitant to do automatic bill pay for some time now, but when I saw this article a few weeks ago, decided that my original stance was correct. Six years is a long time for noone to realize that she was gone. How did noone smell her body?

In her car in her garage. If people only got close to the house when mowing the grass smell could easily cover that up. Since she mummified she might not have smelled that bad most of the time.
