      That's quite common, we see that all of the time. I don't see an issue.

            We have Xerox leased copiers/printers and we had to install a monitoring app on one of our servers.

                It is common, however just make sure when they configure only the Static IP of the printers to be picking them up. Also make sure the SNMP community is not public (also none of your devices should have that).

                      I'd argue you about that. What size printers are you using?

                      WorkCentre 7655, WorkCenter 5855 and more. I have run Xerox printers a long time even there are some 4150 still alive.
