Vultr should have a form for this specific request. I have lost a day waiting for them on the back and forth. They close at 5 ET. First, they give you to tech, then tech reviews it and sends it to account management, who then has to ask you the questions, then you wait based on your reply.
I've never had that happen before.

Well, maybe they changed the procedure to make it more convoluted and less efficient.
Could be. I've done it recently. But not REAL recently.

Finally got the SMTP unblocked. It applied to the instance (multiple servers) that needed to be hard reset in order for it to take effect. Afterward, I was able to send a test message out from postfix and received it. Thanks @dbeato @JaredBusch @scottalanmiller

FFS no. That is not what anything is.
It applied to the Account. Which contains multiple instances.
Instances that could be servers or desktops or WTF ever. -
