Same here. So hard to retain.
Luckily I have to talk to Spanish only staff every day.
That happens with native speakers as well if they don't speak to anyone who speaks their language on a regular basis. I've experienced a bit of that, confusing myself and using the wrong words from the wrong language.

I would prefer that actually. I wish I were forced to speak to someone in Spanish daily. It would really ramp up learning.

Someday.They have good Internet. It's one of the reasons that we like the location. That town is 100% wifi coverage for free.

Someday.They have good Internet. It's one of the reasons that we like the location. That town is 100% wifi coverage for free.

Using DuoLingo on the computer is so much better than the phone app. You can run through the lessons so much faster.

True story. I like the timed practice as well. It really pushes you to think fast and recall vocab.
