Microsoft is Replacing Edge with Chrome's Blink Engine

Microsoft is in the early stages of a project, codenamed “Anaheim”, that is currently slated to replace Microsoft Edge for Windows 10. Instead of continuing to use the company’s EdgeHTML engine, Anaheim will reportedly be built upon Chrome’s open source Blink engine.

Microsoft will be keeping the same UI but use the blink engine instead?

I certainly don't miss the era of Opera with all the ads and inability to properly render almost anything yet with people just fawning over it ridiculously. Granted that was nearly 2 decades ago but it was more annoying then, and now Opera is like a slower version of Chrome.
