Vultr: Instance Security Notice:
-
So, it would seem that I am running recursive DNS on my piHole.. and Vultr is letting me know this.
Something I'll have to research - as I'm currently in the middle of other tasks. But they would like me to address this.
sigh Might just shut the piHole down... while it's working,.. It's not really worth the expense currently.

That's what they call a DNS server. You will always get this notice. Just part of having a DNS server.

Read their notice carefully. It says that they send this alert and you can just ignore it if you know that you are running it.

He can do that now. But that would make the system useless for him. The Vultr firewall might be nice for doing that, but doesn't alter the situation.
