      Has anyone used one of these? Windstream was here recently and was using it to access a Cisco router.. thought it was interesting.

        That's kinda handy. Really useful for secretly hacking into all of those insecure Cisco devices. Just plug it in when no one is looking and those hard coded passwords can be accessed from anywhere 🙂

          @gjacobse While I doubt it's secured properly, that looks like a great solution for when you need a serial console cable with a modern laptop.

            Yeah, but if you are working on Cisco devices anyway, security isn't a high priority.

              Do you really want to use something WindScream is using? Though it does look interesting.

                Generally I would agree...

                But in this case.. It's something I could make,.. so - it can't be but SO bad.... right?
