OWA Frequent Logouts from O365
-
I have several users of Outlook Web Access (OWA) via Office 365 that say that starting about a month ago, with no change having happened to the back end, that they are now getting signed out of OWA many times per day making it very hard to work. The error message always states incorrectly that they chose to log out which, of course, isn't true. According to MS' documentation, logouts should be at six hours, not one to two hours, and that's only for inactivity.
I've seen this at random with my own sessions, but never with this kind of frequency.
I've done some searching but it all seems to agree that this shouldn't be the behaviour.

Neither the Admin Center nor PowerShell seem to have any setting for this.

What Browser use them ?

@scottalanmiller And you have it set to keep me logged in? I have seen this behavior too but having it on keep me logged in has helped.

Yes, that seems to do just about nothing. Might help, but not by a large margin.

Check for any strange extension in Chrome.

Firefox works fine then?

I notice a similar issue from inactivity in Chrome. Then I click on the 'log back in' and it's "good" to go for another bit.
Going by the wording below, I don't think that can be changed:

This is something that MS has started doing. I don't see any way to change it.

I get this, but just spoke to the end users and they are NOT getting this option!

@scottalanmiller Perhaps they did at one time, but selected the option to not show it again.
